Before:

During:
- The treatment area will be cleaned with an antiseptic solution.
- A fine needle is used to inject a precise dose of corticosteroid medication directly into the target area.
- You may feel slight pressure or a brief, mild sting.
- The procedure is quick, typically taking only a few minutes.
After:
- Mild redness, tenderness, or slight bruising may occur at the injection site; these symptoms typically resolve within a few days.
- Avoid excessive touching, rubbing, or applying cosmetics to the treated area for 24 hours.
- Results typically become apparent within days to weeks, depending on the condition treated.
Not Suitable If You:
- Have active infections at the injection site.
- Are allergic to corticosteroids or components of the injection.
- Have certain medical conditions as determined by your primary care provider.
Pricing & Booking
The cost of the corticosteroid medicine for injection(s) is not covered by MSP. There is a fee of $25 – $65 depending on how many injections are required.
Referral from your primary care provider is required. Once referral is received, a consultation and skin assessment will determine if this is the appropriate treatment for your condition.
