What to Know Before Your Treatment 

To ensure optimal results and reduce the risk of complications: 

• Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2–4 weeks before treatment 
• Discontinue retinoids, exfoliants, and active skincare ingredients (e.g., glycolic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C) 5–7 days before your session 
• If prone to cold sores, inform us in advance — an antiviral prescription may be recommended 
• Avoid waxing, depilatory creams, or aggressive exfoliation on the treatment area for 24–48 hours before your appointment 
• Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and stay well hydrated
